Very cool! This upcycled wedding dress was designed, woven, and sewn by students in Lori Llerandi’s art class at Louisville Middle School in Colorado. Discarded library books were used for the “fabric.”
I don’t know if you guys haven’t been following Olly Moss’ recent show of pop culture silhouettes, Paper Cuts, but he finally set up a blog with all of the individual pieces and I think it’s pretty safe to say you’ll find something you like.
I’m not saying I want to be Olly Moss when I grow up, but I’d sure as hell love to have his ingenuity and aesthetic wit.
